Arquipélago is a Brazilian company, founded in 1998, and initially focused on supplying the demand for the development and implementation of remediation systems at contaminated sites.
In 1999, due to an increase in the market demand, the company started an expansion process, increasing its range of environmental services, in particular those aimed for the industrial sector.
As of 2001, Arquipélago has been undergoing an intense growth process, developing large remediation projects at sites contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons.
In 2003, with the approval of the first Clean Development Mechanism methodologies by the United Nations Climate Change Executive Board, Arquipélago began to develop greenhouse gas reduction projects, providing its clients with services related to carbon credits sale.

In 2005, being acknowledged by the market as a strong company, the building then occupied by Arquipélago was no longer large enough to accommodate the needs of the company’s team, and the offices were moved to a more spacious area in a privileged location, thus facilitating the access of our teams to the work sites.

We offer our clients intelligent, innovative and ready to use environmental solutions, provided by a highly motivated and qualified multidisciplinary team. With more than 30 employees, including engineers, biologists and technicians, our company is proud to maintain the same early dynamism and creativity in facing our clients’ challenges.
